Embodied Advent 2024
This year, the Nurture the Soul team at the National Setting of the United Church of Christ curated "Embodied Advent" for use in your home and communities.
Embodied Advent is a series that highlights the ministries of a diverse representation of United Church of Christ partners and faith leaders. All Advent programs have been pre-recorded and will be made available on Frontline Faith the Monday before each Advent week.
Please note we decided to include a "Longest Night" service in lieu of a 4th week of Advent. The purpose of these webinars is to nurture your souls and ministries and can be shared in lieu of holding your own service - or to pull pieces from to enhance your own ministry settings.
The first week in Advent, we'll enjoy Embodied Advent: Nurturing Hope with Rev. Shea Darian from doinggrief.org. The second week of Advent, we're joined by the United Black Christians who are exploring Nurturing Faith. The third week we get to embody Nurturing Joy alongside members from the UCC's Disability Ministries Board, and our final installment includes a contemplative "Longest Night" series alongside representatives from our STAR Coalition. We hope you and your communities will enjoy these offerings whenever you have the chance.
For now, we are wishing you and yours a blessed and illuminating Advent season.
