The Invitation

Movement-Maker Gatherings are convenings of those doing the work of racial justice, providing opportunities to nurture our souls, develop self-care and healing practices, and strengthen bonds of trust through mutual respect and deep listening. These sessions are also a space for learning how to grow in our knowledge and skills to address bias and intentional harm and develop language and practices to confront threats against our siblings. Each Gathering is crafted to nourish and refresh our souls when the "isms" of life wear us down, cause anxiety, and lead us to believe the racial justice journey is impossible, and building a just world for all is too grand to envision.
